Denise joined Aadvantage Laundry Systems in 2015 and is currently the Financial Controller & Accounting Manager. She’s very proud to be part of such a quality leadership team and wonderful team of employees. Denise has seen extensive growth in the company since she arrived and says “the sky is the limit” with the business that Mike and Ryan have built to date. Denise is currently managing the front office support team and is responsible for the financial computing system. Denise retired early after 27 years from HP / EDS where she served in leadership and management roles including Accounting Manager, Accountant, Sr. Financial Analyst supporting government divisions, International Transition Team Leader and Process Improvement Specialist. She has experience in managing fixed asset, cash application, accounts receivable and payable teams. Joining this Company was a true blessing and is fulfilling and rewarding. Denise resides in Rowlett, Texas with her husband of 40 years loves being near her son, daughter-in-law, and three wonderful grandchildren.
Customer Service Manager
Jeff began in the laundry business in 1979 and came to AAdvantage in 1997. He spent a year in the field as a technician before he was promoted to oversee the service department. Now his duties include supervising over 20 service and installation technicians spread across the country, coordinating operations between the service, parts, and installation departments, and ensuring our customers receive quality service. Jeff is married with two grown daughters and enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing and hunting.
Scott has worked in the laundry industry since 1985 and came to Aadvantage as a service technician in 1998, before being promoted to the parts department in 2000. Scott oversees the entire parts department which includes maintaining the warehouse and ordering specialty parts for customers. Scott works in tandem with the service department by ensuring our technician’s trucks are stocked and providing customers with service quotations. Scott attended Eastfield college, lives in Kaufman with his wife, and has two children and five grandchildren.
With over 10 years of commercial laundry equipment experience, Shawn brings AAdvantage Laundry Systems an edge to the industry with his knowledge of installation, service, parts and now sales! After working as an installation technician for three years, Shawn went back to the drawing board to further his knowledge of electrical wiring diagrams and schematics at Eastfield College. Upon completion, Shawn moved into the service department as a service technician where he ran service for 3 years. Just like installations, Shawn excelled at servicing laundry equipment. He then moved inside the office as the parts specialist for 2 years taking care of most all parts orders. He then was moved to Installation Coordinator taking care of all scheduling and install planning for five states and managing equipment inventory in the both warehouses. After that Shawn was asked to come aboard the sales team and begin serving customers by supplying them with fast and competitive quotes for new machines at government and municipality locations. Armando joined AAdvantage in January of 2016 as our parts specialist. His responsibilities include coordinating between customers and wholesale parts manufacturers, processing parts purchase orders, and handles drop shipped parts orders. Before coming to AAdvantage, Armando worked as a logistics manager in the oil and gas industry. He lives in Little Elm with his wife and four sons.
Richard started out at AAdvantage in 2013 as a service technician, then as a parts specialist, before coming to his current position of installation coordinator. Prior to joining Aadvantage, Richard spent eleven years in law enforcement. His duties include scheduling equipment installations, maintaining the equipment warehouse, and working closely with our logistics manager for prompt delivery. Richard lives in Rosser with his wife and three kids.
Marcela came to AAdvantage in 2014 from Miami with five years’ experience in logistics management and a degree in Business Administration. As logistics coordinator, she is responsible for coordinating the storage, transportation and delivery of our laundry equipment. She liaises with our parts and installation departments to ensure our stock is maintained and moved efficiently. In addition to overseeing our company’s logistics, Marcela manages all of Mexico sales. She lives in Wylie and enjoys Latin dancing and spending time with her family.
Jennifer has been AAdvantage’s service dispatcher since her hiring in September 2015. She dispatches for the North Texas and Oklahoma regions. She ensures our service technicians have the information they need to efficiently run calls. Jennifer uses her combined seventeen years’ experience in dispatching, human resources, administrative work, and billing to provide a positive experience for our customers. A mother of two boys, Jennifer moved from Las Vegas, NV in 2000 and is going back to school for business management and marketing.
Margaret joined AAdvantage in 2003 as administrative assistant and has nearly forty years’ experience in administrative and accounting positions. As the company expanded so did her duties, until 2013 when she was shifted to focus solely on accounting. She is responsible for all equipment billing, the billing for drop shipments, and other accounting duties as assigned. Margaret loves muscle cars, classic rock, travelling, and hanging out with Wesley, her best friend and husband of thirty-three years.
Norma worked in the commercial laundry industry for twelve years before joining AAdvantage in 2013. Her duties include processing the accounts payable, assisting in collecting delinquent accounts receivable, and providing excellent customer service. Norma is due to graduate this year from Richland College with a degree in accounting. She has been happily married for twenty-four years with two children and six grandchildren.
Scharteese joined AAdvantage in 2015 as an accounting specialist and works primarily with accounts payable. Her duties vary from managing our line of credit and monthly taxes to inputting our rental and route contracts to coding and paying incoming equipment invoices. Scharteese is working on a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Phoenix and lives with her family around Dallas. Married and the mother of four, Scharteese loves being with her family, singing, and just enjoying life.
Jan joined the ALS accounting team in May of 2016, bringing with her 35+ years of accounting experience. After earning her business and accounting degree, she has had longevity in both the fresh potato business and the trucking industry. Prior to moving to Texas, she was part owner of a successful trucking company that serviced the lower 48 states based out of Minnesota. She moved to Texas to be closer to her daughter and her family in 2011, but she has not quite mastered the hot summers! Jan has 2 wonderful children and 5 grandchildren, 3 in Texas and 2 in Idaho.
Margaret started out at AAdvantage as the receptionist and administrative assistant in March of 2016 and was moved to the accounting department that August. She is responsible for all service billing and assists with accounts payables. Margaret attended Southern Methodist University and earned a B.A. in English. She enjoys spending time with her family and taking her dog, George, on adventures.
Britnee joined AAdvantage in August 2016 after moving from her home state of Mississippi. She manages our front desk and phone lines, while providing operational support to the accounting department. Although this is her first time working in the commercial laundry industry, she has eight years’ experience in clerical work and was a veterinary receptionist immediately prior to her move to Texas. Britnee enjoys painting and taking trips with her husband, Eric.
