Napkin Accumulator
The Braun Napkin Accumulator (FSNA) is a free standing, caster-mounted accumulator for use behind almost any flatwork ironer. It accumulates small flatwork goods, such as table napkins, at the rear on dual storage rods in each lane. The accumulator has been configured to take the napkins off the ironer and drape them in half over the storage rods in stacks of up to 25.
The FSNA, operating with a primary folder or folder/cross-folder, is 120 inches wide and has a five-lane configuration. It is capable of accumulating pieces as large as 24” x 24”. The Napkin Accumulator is also available in (optional) 130” working width.
Air blast stacking allows the stack to move only when the count has been reached, resulting in a neat high quality stack.
This accumulator is equipped with complete on-board diagnostics for trouble-free operation.
Stackers
All Braun flatwork stackers save labor and maintain fold quality as they automatically sort, separate and stack flatwork from a continuous flow of differently sized items.
On the line, the stackers sit side-by-side, accepting flatwork items or passing them on until each piece reaches the stacker programmed for its particular size. Up to four stackers can be arranged in this manner. Settings such as stack count and conveyor advance can be adjusted simulaneously from the folder. This saves time and reduces user interface wtih the equipment.
Options Include:
A five high feature for processing blankets. This allows for stacking of up to five thermal blankets.
Also available as a stand alone stacker with an integrated PLC.
Many available discharge conveyor options.
Rotary Accumulator
The Braun Small-Piece Rotary Accumulator (SPRA) is available in either free-standing or folder-integrated configurations.
Mounted above the bypass table across the back of either the primary folder or folder/cross-folder, the Rotary Accumulator utilizes the folders infeed conveyor to move goods from the flatwork ironer discharge.
The SPRA is ideal for draping and stacking small-piece ironed cotton, polyester/cotton, or spun polyester flatwork.
The microprocessor automatically measures each item to provide accurate accumulating/draping of various sized items from 12” x 12” to 28” W x 36” L.
The SPRA operates with flatwork ironers operating up to 150 feet per minute, and is available in 4 or 5 lane configurations. The free standing accumulator is available in a 5 lane configuration.
